As Park City Gardens Club winds down for another year, we’d like to thank everyone that made 2011 an “extra special” year. Your donation, whether monetary, labor, or materials helped us to continue providing support to the numerous volunteers that plant, weed, and maintain the 25 community gardens scattered throughout Merrill.
This past year, Park City Gardens achieved a milestone with the celebration of their 20th anniversary. Through the generosity of individuals, civic organizations, and businesses, Park City Gardens and its volunteers have been able to beautify Merrill one flower at a time.
In 2012, our dedicated and talented group of volunteers will be working on several new projects including the rehabilitation of the flowerbed at the “Old City Hall” Triangle, the Roundabout, and the planter along the new retaining wall on First Street. Our objective is to not only provide a visual treat for the residents of Merrill to enjoy, but to create a strong first impression to visitors that come to Merrill.
We look forward to your continued support in 2012.
